I understand Sigma has Polyinosinic–polycytidylic acid potassium salt and Polyinosinic–polycytidylic acid sodium salt. What is the difference between the two and which of the two does well in promoting Th1 immune responses? I have come across a number of publications but all what is mentioned is that poly(I:C) was used as an adjuvant.

Do positively charged chemical adjuvants interact with DNA vaccines thus affecting protein expression?

Thank you
