I have no idea about numbers of FSH receptors in follicule... However, In my opinion, the true question should be which cells how many FSH receptors on their membrane. As you know follicules contains alot of layers consisting of basicly Thecha cells (ext.&int.), granulosa cells and also layers especially cover oocyte...
I can say or predict that granulosa cells have alot of receptors compared to thecha layers. Moreover, as you ask in your question numbers of FSHr absolutely change with development stage of follicles...
And I want to know and be curious to learn about absolute number of FSH on follicule cells. I am waiting answers with you...

dear umut thank you for your answer, but my point is the following if one specie ovulate with less diameter than other, it is possible that the explanation will be the number of receptors?
