It's from a stream benthos sample from France...I was thinking in some parasitic worm as Trematoda, but could not find anything similar...hope you can help me,
hola Andrés, creo que son nematodos mermítidos. Los he visto muchas veces saliendo del interior de larvas de invertebrados, al fijar la muestra. SOn parásitos internos.
Yo opino igual que Juan, tiene pinta de 'Schistosoma', los gordiacea como sugiere Andrés son mucho más largos y de grosor constante por lo menos los que he visto yo. Si consigues saber lo que es no dejes de contarlo!!
As I commented earlier 8in Spanish) Carmen Zamora-Muñoz oppinio is correct. They are round worms (Nematoda: Mermithidae). Any student of General Zoology should recognize the Phyllum Nematoda. As C.Zamora-Muñoz commented. Mermitids have part of its life cycle as parasitics of invertebrates and they are very often found into larval stages of aquatic insects, and easily visible. Of course they can not be Schistosoma because these live inside blood vessels, with a totally different morphology and the size is much smaller. Also Nemertina are very very different!.
Well, thank you very much again for all your messages . Finally I examided the "creatures " under a microscope, as Javier suggested. I think Diego was right , they seem newly germinated seeds.
Here you have a photo of the thinnest part, because everything else was very opaque. Of course , no internal structures...I apologize for not doing this before asking,
