The species collected from Kanyakumari, SW coast of Tamil Nadu India.
It is a harpacticoid of some sort. You would need to dissect off the legs and get a better view of the furca, at the very least, to get down even to genus level.
Yes, it is a harpacticoid, and given the shape of the body and rostrum, I would agree with Joydeep's identification as the cosmopolitan, planktonic species Euterpina acutifrons.
I would not be confident that it is Euterpina acutifrons at all from the attached picture. Firstly, you can not see the rostrum clearly, and the rostrum does not look to be long enough. Secondly, the furca appears too long and narrow to be Euterpina acutifrons. Euterpina acutifrons has a furca typically only about twice as long as wide, but this has quite long narrow furca.
I agree with Ian I am not confident with Euterpina acutifrons, P5 in the picture looks very wide. Could be a great help see the first leg.
If comparing the original species description of E. acutifrons with your photograph, I do NOT think this is E. acutifrons. If you provide more details (first leg, fifth leg, antennae, mouthparts), this would help for a "remote species identification".
I must agree that the caudal furca is too long and narrow for E. acutifrons.
