Since the first comments of Staudinger (at 1922) about the model of macromolecules a couple of duromer and thermoplastic polymer resins are synthesized and available for technical use.
From my viewpoint the today known polymer systems might be the "tip of an iceberg". It seems that the predicted endless variety of macromolecular polymers, which can be figured out, never has been investigated or theoretically evaluated.
Perhaps I am wrong, but any further comment on this topic or contact to research groups handling new (macromolecular) polymer systems is welcome.

Some semantics to start with and please correct me if I'm wrong: not all macromolecules are polymers but all polymers are macromolecules; accordingly your term "macromolecular polymers" is tautologous.
I'm not sure whether it makes sense trying to gather the diversity of polymers in extenso and cluster their properties. In my professional life I have usually tried to design new polymers and their desirable properties based on analogies and extrapolation.

Very interesting topic !!
The big problem is that the polymer chains are not alone. Beside the crosslinking we can have also the entanglement among the chains.
I like a lot the papers from Prof. Andrew Klein, from Lehigh University about this subject. I would recommend to read his papers related to network morphology correlated to mechanical properties of polymer films.

There Group additive and Group Contribution methods for the prediction of many physical parameters including mechanical. For instance, van Krevelen method and Askadskii method. Especially in the Askadskii method, the secondary interactions are also included to predict the parameters.
Askadskii method includes prediction of mechanical parameters like Stress Optical coefficient. Van Krevelen method predicts the prediction of indirectly predicting the modulii of polymers via acoustic velocity model (like shear modulus).
