Does any one know what is reduced PBS containing 15% glycerol mean?

I am trying to prepare for the fecal transplantation, so including fecal sample with in PBS,I read one paper that used the method of mixing reduced PBS containing 15% glycerol, but I was confused with what does reduced is. I found what pre-reduced is, but not reduced? can someone help me on this?

Reduced PBS usually needs to be diluted. If you solution is 1 x10 you need to add 90ml of distilled water to 10ml of reduced PBS.
