I going to measure the ammonia in either sea water or fresh water, however couldn't access to the "Ammonia determination based on indophenol formation with sodium salicylate", after searching on the internet, so I will be glad if some one could reference me one practical method.

You can either find a method in the American Standard Methods or look for a ISO or EN (Europe) standard. They charge a lot for a copy som try to find it elsewhere. Standard Methods for the determination.... (APHA among others) is usually available at libraries. Even a bit old versions will give you the method.
