I am just beginning my foray into glyco- peptide synthesis. I have successfully incorporated the derivative FMOC-Thr(GalNAc)(Ac3)-alpha-D)-OH into my sequence however I am having difficulty deacetylating the protecting groups. Does anyone have a protocol that they would be willing to share that has been successful in removing the acetyl groups? The literature references are vague and there have been two sources that claim standard TFA cleavage procedures should work, but that has not been my experience.
