The AX + BX2 = ABX3, and first the [BX6]4- forms to make the octahedral network of halide perovskites. I am pretty sure that, the halogens (X-) that coordinated to B, are coming from the breakage of the A-X bond, and after that A+ fills the spaces to complete the structure, I want to know if this statement is correct. and I appreciate it if you have any references about the A-X bond breakage.
