As far as I know, the Ti coating layer deposited by a sublimation pump traps the Oxygen atoms present in the vacuum chamber, thus eliminating their contribution to the total pressure. Does the Ti "catch" another element?

in addition to O2 a Titan sublimation pump also catches H2O, CO, CO2 and when cooling (down to LN) as well as N2 and H2.
Good luck.
But take care; part of the gases may be released back into your vacuum system again. Please read the pump instructions carefully.
