Hello, I am sure, that one of the paper you cite, is a plagiarism. The "authors" Wen Zeng and Songjing Li are known plagiarists. One of their paper was recently retracted for this reason (from Soft Matter). They published together with Howard Stone, who had no idea what was going on. Among the scientists and first authors, whose articles were copied by this couple, are Volkert van Steijn and Piotr Korczyk. Ask them about the details (or ask Howard Stone).

-) Which citation are you specifically referring to? (i.e., to which paper from Zeng and Li?)
-) The paper from these authors recently retracted for plagiarism is the same we have cited, or a different one? If a different one, could you give me more details (title, journal etc.)?

I do not understand why the above link does not mention the reason of retraction - and the reason was that a significant amount of content was copied from an article of Volkert van Steijn in Lab on Chip.
Another case was a plagiarsm of article of Piotr Korczyk et al. about instability of syringe pumps. As far as I know, the investigetion is not closed yet.
Interestingly, shortly after retracing the plagiarism, Zeng managed to publish a new article in the same journal (Soft Matter).
Of course, you are free to cite any article you want, including papers authored by confirmed plagiarists. In my opinion, however, it is better to ignore such "scientists".
