Do you think we place too much emphasis on research utilization? Many practitioners think research is "too theoretical" and many researchers think practitioners "just don't want to adapt", so what are your thoughts on this gap?
Kengershater Agwa those who think that research is "too theoretical" does not know what the word "THEORY" means, which has a different meaning from the use of everyday life, understood as something disconnected from reality, but it is they who are out of reality. These are the first who apply the well-known self-referential "naive theories" making disasters.
Researchers think practitioners "just don't want to adapt": they should provide more practical implications and they don't always do.
If we seek to co-opt smart people into the scientific community, then we must understand that most of these people are pragmatists and want to see the practical (applied) consequences of their activities.
