I found many RG members claim authorship for some papers not their own. Due to name matching, claim authorship option or RG suggestion, we see some papers not belong to the researchers are listed under his RG profile. In my opinion, every member must check his profile carefully and remove those others papers. In addition RG must provide a strong identity system only allows the author to claim /add his own publications.
What do you think, is it RG member or staff's responsibility, or both?
Regardless of the responsibility of the RG staff, RG member must remove all papers that he is not an author of it from his profile. Maybe it was added to him by mistake.
It may be in case of multiple authors. RG cross-check whether the work is related to concerned laboratory or members known to us. We should also make corrections if found duplicacy.
