do you think that electronic education proved its ability to achieve the required goals that have been submitted by universities and scientific institutes???
Since the cultural view of knowledge and learning hasn't reached an adequate level in many countries especially the developing one, e-learning, in my opinion, failed to achieve the required goals that have been planned by universities.

I think besides the advantages of electronic education, it also has disadvantages that has to be improved and developed especially during the time of the pandemic.
It may be beneficial to an extent because it does not require waking up early, there is no fear of getting scolded and one can study in a comfortable manner. But, a teacher and student relationship can be best established in a classroom only. The interaction and the questions a student asks the instructor in the class cannot happen in an online interaction. Virtual learning offers a good substitute to classroom learning in the time of emergency but it cannot replace the classroom. Classroom learning still remains the main option as discipline can be taught through it and it is a better mode of imparting education and knowledge.
E-learning was a necessity imposed by the circumstances of Covid-19 Pandemic. Its adoption in that broad manner has largely filled the gap created by the lack of traditional education due to the lockdown. Definitely, e-learning has its pros and cons, however with critical reviewing and improvement it can be an effective educational method with high educational abilities, where it can be run in parallel with traditional education or as an equivalent alternative.
I do not think that, although it was necessary at this stage because of the epidemic, scientifically I do not think that it achieved all the desired goals of it. It was tantamount to coping with the situation, especially in our developing countries, as this type of education was a new experience for teachers and students.
Disagree. Language education requires strong speaking skills trained in the classroom with real people. No other variants for a university students. I started in September with the second-year students, but their mouths cannot move properly after half-a-year of "fake practice" :(
Answers will depend on field of study, provided online learning materials and many other factors.
You also don't specify what goals you want to measure the success of. What are you looking for, and why does the question deserve multiple question marks?
Lennart Steinke hhh multiple Q marks to express my wondering? is it bad point? ..actually i agree with you its highly dependent upon the field of study but my question is (in general) if you thing its required more specifications .. it will be so nice of you to listed them in your next comment .. please accept my Regards ..
Let's see. Field of study would be nice. Place of study to actually use the information gathered. Whether the course itself was designed from the beginning as a long distance course, or if he institution tried within a limited time to create an option for remote study due to necessity.
Number and kind of material provided (study guidelines, scripts, recorded lectures, live lectures, online questionaires, interactive tests, serious games, related to study topic, online tests, collaboration platforms for students to build virtual learning groups, e-learning platform used, usability of the tools, the list could go on, depending on the focus), with a rating and list of pros and cons.
For each of these topics, you can find a long lists of papers going into the details, since e-learning is a well researched area.
Goals could include: Personal safety during a global pandemic, interaction between students, learning progress, reduction of staff needed per student, change in success rates of courses when switching from on-premise to remote learning, (reduction of) anxiety due to limited in-person interaction, etc.
I'm surprised that you require a list of potential goals from an outside source. I would have suspected that you have a (specific) question that you want to be answered.

Colleagues have written enough about the merits and lacks of distance learning. Of course one of the merrit is the ability of the student to watch the lecture (and they are usually recorded and available) at other times to clarify the moments that the student missed when they first met. Even if we assume that e-learning provides a sufficient level of knowledge (but in ordinary learning, a student can also read (watch) more complex sources than those recommended by the professor), the second function of education - the development of skills is absolutely unsolvable during online (skill is passed from hand to hand, not from head to head). Moreover, e-education does not solve the socialization function. Students are isolated from each other and spontaneous contacts, which are possible, do not solve the problem. Besides common acquaintances and future contacts, it is very important that the average student sees both positive and negative examples of other students. This makes the group more homogeneous, sets a certain standard of knowledge and behavior, which is followed by the majority in further training. So online training is a necessary measure for the conditions of the epidemic, it can also be used to strengthen the educational component, but it does not solve all problems, although it is very attractive for administrators ...
I think that this kind of learning must be applicated in schools and universities. this can reducing coast of study and performing skills of students. For exemple, during actual pandemy this type of learning giving a lot of services to academic staff.
