Around the 9th day of Hajj month, more than 3.0 million Muslims gather in Makkah to perform Hajj. This number will continue to increase in the next few years to reach almost 4 million Muslims . Do you think hajjis during pilgrimage are more liable to diseases than others!!!

Dr Mahmoud ... I agree with answer no 1 , also, most of HAJJIS are aging and have many diseases like heart disease.

I agree with the previous comment even the Saudi National Scientific Committee for Infectious Diseases recommended that persons older than 65, children, pregnant women and those with underlying conditions should postpone the pilgrimage due to the MERS-CoV risk.
Diversity in ethnic origin, different languages and socioeconomic status. Also, different medical background and many of co-morbidities especially with older people

do not forget the climate , Mecca in summer time are very hot and Heatstroke cases are frequent during the pilgrimage to Mecca.
I has another opinion, please think with me , the spiritual and religious aspects may increase the immunity of Hajjis making them resisting the diseases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

don’t forget other non-infectious diseases like Stamped accidents and fire , what is the role of immunity!!!!!!!!
Non- infectious related illness are preventable like stampedes by crowd management and control, grouping and scheduling pilgrims, changes in the construction of the transport system and video monitoring of pilgrims lead to marked reductions in stampedes since 2006
