I think, it may happen, as some of the diseases transmit to human from wild animals and vice-versa, but needs further research to confirm it, whether COVID-19 has transmitted to human from water or aquatic animals or not!
Moisture areas contains these virus may be freshwater habitat is possible for the transmission of covid-19 as we read about the high temperature is not good for it and it is spreading through sneeze or cough which contain the drops of water. Maybe it is possible that this virus even live in aquatic animals but don't perform its function. As like HIV. The HIV also present in other animals but don't perform any function, while this HIV only actives in human only due to certain enzymes or host cell containing reliable proteins coat.
I do not think that fish or other aquatic animals are hosts of Influenza or Corona virusses. Zoonosises normally are juping from birds (aves) or mammals (mammalia) not fish (pisces)...

Corona viruses until SARS and SARS-2/CoVID-19 were contact virus. Both of these mutated strain are communicable both by contact with contaminated surfaces, and by transmission through air droplets (pneumonic transmission).
As I recall from research on the original SARS virus, it was found in the water of the air-conditioning units, and was transmitted by the air systems.
Though current information on this new mutation is not available, I would be concerned that SARS-2/CoVID-19 might have similar biological properties.
To date, there is no proof of human transmission from water or aquatic animals.
The original SARS virus as I recall was found in the A/C units and filters of the jet airliners where commuters were infected, and the droplets from the conditioners transmitted the virus to other passengers.
The current SARS-2 virus is found in human droplets of infected people.
Though a virus needs a host for infection, growth and transmission, once in the air, it can be filtered by air systems and concentrated, and re-transmitted to an unsuspecting public.
There is no current evidence that coronavirus is transmitted to human from water. Viruses for water borne transmissions are the non enveloped enteric viruses. On the other hand, enveloped viruses such as the coronaviruses behave differently in the aquatic environment. As different types of viruses can infect only certain species over a selected range of temperature, coronaviruses mostly attack warm blooded mammals including humans and human body's temperature (37 degree centigrade) is suitable for its infection. As most aquatic animals cannot survive at this temperature they do not have the possibility to transmit the virus to human.

May be, as the virus has been found in water medium, so needs more research to confirm its transmission to aquatic animals.
There is a positive correlation between total cases of COVID and FreshWater fish consumption. Data of food supply belong to 2013, i.e., before covid19 pandemic. In this study COVID 19 is as dependent variable. Food supply are as dependent variables. Please see:

I haven't read any paper that proves that there is current evidence that coronavirus (Covid-19) is transmitted to humans from water or aquatic animals.
But it's a zoonosis and it might evolve. That means in the near future it might be transmitted from water or aquatic animals.
It very important to test marine mammals for Covid19. Zoonosis concer all mammals (terrestrial, aquatic.....).
I think sludge can be an important source to contaminate water, meat and raw edible vegetables as well as fruits. So transmission of Covid-19 may be undetermined fact through these wastes.
