RG and academic platforms (ORCID, Cienciavitae, etc.)
Obly on RG. I don't think people on social networks like FB are interested in academic achievements.
The answer is NO, only on ResearchGate and similar academic platforms, where I think that the vast majority appreciate science and has concerns other than simple socialization and incarnation in everyday life...
Depending on the available areas that are required of that communication.

For me sharing my work with colleagues is very enjoyable activity. When I work on my article or book always think about my readers, mentally I communicate with them. When at last the work is prepared and I can share it with colleagues I am happiest person in the world. So, sharing is great thing and because I love RG as it provides relevant platform for to do this very easily and successfully.
