I am willing to donate mid-1970s thru 2010+ issues of Ecology, Ecological Monographs, and Ecological Applications.
I would also be very happy to receive the journals. We need them for the new ecology masters program we have opened in the department of biology. This is very generous of you, I'm sure the beneficiaries would be honoured. I'd like to nominate the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa as they have a fairly small ecological library and are based in a key ecological research area.
How about Animal Behaviour - 20 years' worth or so up to about 1980 ? J Anim Ecol ? Economic Entomology about 1976 to 1980 ??
The big question is 'How can they be transported ?' I've often wondered whether there was a charity somewhere that did this.
Could anyone who is interested in my journals contact me at [email protected] with details on how transport can be arranged and transport costs paid ? The journals are doing no one much good at the moment and it would be good if they were *used* !
The academic institution that I am currently employed has offered BS Biology, and I think your journals would be very helpful to the students taking up ecology and field biology.
