I have vignettes prepared in excel file, but I don't know how to distribute them across questionnaires according the number of respondents. I do not want to do that by copy-paste method.
If you have your full packet for participants but would like to systematically vary some elements, like the order or versions of vignettes, you don’t necessarily need to manually create all your combinations. If you have your vignettes in an Excel spreadsheet, you can copy and paste to create, for example, a row for each packet variation and a combination for each part you would like to insert into the packet in columns. Now create a “form letter” in MS Word linking to your Excel spreadsheet as the database. Hope that’s helpful, Jiri. ~ Kevin
thanks for your answer! This works and I have one long word document now with all the questionnaires containing specific set of vignettes for every respondent. I would like to ask another question, if I can: do you know the way how to transform that long .docx document into .html document, put on web and distribute links to that web page according my set of email addresses? Thanks, Jiri
Glad that helps. Probably the easiest thing to do is import your MS Word document into Google Forms and then share the links to those Google Forms; within Google Forms it gives you the option to distribute a link directly to it along with a message. You’ll then have a spreadsheet for each form. From Google Forms, look for the “File Upload” option. Best wishes with your survey!
