Do you have have any recommendations or any research papers that primarily used a detergent to lyse gram negative bacteria? Preferably for PCR. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

A small piece of colony at the end of the pipette tip can be used directly without resuspension. Shake the tip after lightly touching the colony in the PCR mixture and extend the initial denaturation step by 5 minutes.
