Yes we do. Displaying one is probably left over from a so-called "pagan" ritual, and that's OK, but I'd like to think that today we can just have it mean "Peace on earth, goodwill toward man (mankind ...ie, women and men)." :-)

We used to have one for May 1st and one for Christmas. This in my parents house in Greece. Since I came to Canada, people put wreaths for many different customs from wherever they come from. Many people put up one for Christmas, but the most customary is colourful lights all around the front of the house with a Christmas tree with lights on the window (but inside the house). If there is a tree in the front of the house, people decorate it with lights!
