In this category biological and chemical weapons have as result the killing of people affected by them but does not interfere with life in the world. However the nuclear it is different because harms the land, water and put in a certain risk the humanity. It is not just a question of genocide but a matter of destroying the world.

Professor Iraj Roudgar, you ask about the reason of the US military presence in the region?In US politics and military strategy there is the principle of having a strong power all over the world and especially on hot spots. Japan is in the region the main US ally and gives all the needed support for air and naval US power. South Korea is a blockade for China expansionism to Japan Sea – see the attached report

North Korea is a inheritance of the cold war. Historical reviews shows, in recent decades all the US policy was unsuccessful. The Nuclear weapon and development is the cause of the survival strategy of North Korean regime. Resolving the crisis also relies on the US-China grand strategy in Asia-Pacific which provides a strategic balance between the superpowers. I think to stop the ballistic missile testing more possible than denuclearization. Peace talks might will happen in the next. I do not expect the denuclearization of Korea Peninsula, it is so late. The issue is not reduced to the possession of nuclear power by immature leaders, but rather relates to the fatal annihilation of our planet (or destruction of nation (think of Japan's devastated crisis made by the so called mature leader(s) of the US). And think of Russia Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Nuclear power should be banned, but it is late to materialize this hope.

I wrote the country never give up the program. It's a long term strategy.

Historical events show that North Korea does not intend to stop the nuclear weapons programs and never planned to give up the project and thus developed the arsenals capabilities even around the international negotiations and Korean peace talks. Because of, it’s a strong instrument in international relations/foreign policy in the world politics as well as it’s a vital source for political negotiations in global equations. In addition, the military capability is working as a deterrence tool in possible military intervention by the US military presence in the Korean Peninsula and potential efforts at regime change. There is not any carrot policy which encouraging to give up the North Korean nuclear program and all steaks policy also did not work and thus all negotiations and also sanctions will not bring any tangible results, even the US-North Korea leaders’ appointment in Singapore.
