I think in current no theory or evidence proof that the sixth sense should trust it. Sometimes in a crisis situation, many people choose to believe in the sixth sense.
Thank you appreciate for your valuable participation. Dear Mohannad Husain Al-Sherrawi. As far as I know, there is no clear theory that defines this matter of the sixth sense , or if you know it, please explain me more.

Of course I believe in human power and every thing we have but may be we do not know? For example, some people have good expectation and read the future those not the well trained people those who have natural and gift from God to have more and more sense and expectation
In my opinion, the sixth sense results from an emotional state of a person who is sublimately interconnected by stimuli between the different senses and his brain, thus creating an orgasm of the brain that allows him to reach the sensory paroxysm.
the sixth sense i have is so powerful that i can somehow avoid many troubles depending on it... but the most important is the personality by itself because it is a mix of 6the sense, analyzed data from previous contacts, and complicated feelings...
Sixth sense is sensed only through its results, which are sometimes explained through telepathy. I myself have done actions parallel to some that happened simultaneously thousands of miles away.
Me too...., call it 'sixth sense'.... call it 'enhanced perception'.... some times is just a buzz in your ear .... and suddenly is a perception about someone doing something relating to you or talking about you... and sometimes is just a matter of trusting your guts when taking action on life, but yes, definitively.... there is something there :)
Of course, one must be careful to define one's terms in this case. What is a sixth sense? Clearly it is different from the five senses of sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.
Yes, humans have six senses which include hearing, smell, taste, touch, vision and awareness of one's body in space. The latter one, called proprioception, may have a genetic basis. Please see the below given link.
It is true that certain ideas spring up unexpectedly from an observation or incident or while doing an experiment. This talent of individuals, the sudden motivation to problem solving by a new perspective, is usually denoted by the term intuition or the sixth sense. Insight, revelation, inspiration, premonition, and enlightenment are other terms to denote intuition. An idea rises suddenly into consciousness as a solution to a problem in which one particular individual is intensely interested, something like a ‘sixth sense’. Archimedes found the answer to the puzzle of specific gravity while he was in the bathtub through intuition. It is not correct to simply dismiss all such insights as irrational.
Hi...call it what you like...however being 'bogged-down' over the term 6th sense makes little sense. We...whether true believers or doubting Thomas' have awareness beyond out mundane sensing. Forget about naming it, just let it help you. You will have little if any control over the seemingly supernatural, which is really just one of more of your hundreds of personalities keeping stock of your environment.
The 6th sense, intuition, hunches, and the like, when reliable, would just be misleading labels for standard senses functioning subliminally or at a level below conscious awareness. I myself once suddenly had the belief that bells were ringing but I was not consciously hearing bells. It turned out that church bells were being rung several miles away, outside the range of normal hearing. This happened to me on a few occasions, enough to make mere coincidence an implausible explanation.
However, there may be an issue with the number 6. Proprioception, synaesthesia, and the sonar-like sense of some blind people may require that number to be revised upward.
