Do you agree with me? Just as a straight line consists of two points, and the intersection between them is at a point, engineering, scientific, medical and literary research can meet at a point. This is why researchers in all fields should look at most of the research and benefit from it in their next research, even by a point?

Agree with you completely. They do tend to meet each point at some point and purpose of any given research can somehow try to come close to this point in order to benefit the mankind.
My subjects were my role as a nurse practitioner for bladder and bowel health and my research was qualitative, into living with faecal incontinence.
But sometimes, if I have been talking to an academic about his/her subject and mine, we find common ground.
Which is lovely. And you can learn a lot!
I think your research field is very valuable, hoping you make great progress in your work.
Mixing all the science seems to a big asking. Even in a single field it seems to be a difficult task. Ideally it should be done but we are human with very limit capacity and other flaws. Even in one field researchers ignore other works. For example, I prove that most all the research in ship stability is erroneous. Yet, many researchers just insisting on using the wrong equations. My estimates that this will penetrate everywhere is about 40 years. For instance, I noticed an error in E. T. from Tufts university which basically violation of the concept. I wrote him and I got a respond that I am not polite. How you except transfer of knowledge when dealing with people who care more about defending their territory than advancement of science. The transfer of knowledge can occur but it will take time.
