Hello,

I am working on tyrosinase inhibitors on B16F10 cells. I would like to measure intra and extracelluler melanin content.

Some references used melanocyte stimulating hormone however some didnt. Cells already produce some levels of melanin which is visible to eye. Should we use hormon in inhibitor studies or not?
