Do we need to include both independent and Dependent variable together for running a EFA?

Dear Friends,

Assume that we have two set of constructs (independent with 24 items and dependent with 26 items). while running a EFA do we run independent and dependent separately or to combine all 50 statements (24+26) and run as one single EFA? Share your views along with Literature review ( if possible)
