Hello, I took skin sample from 5 acne patients and 5 non-acne patients. I did serial dilution on different samples. I found out that the value of CFU of the acne patients is higher compared to the CFU value of non-acne patients based on the data.
Among the acne patients, Acne patients with The highest value of CFU have more severe acne problem compared to other acne patients based on the severity of skin problem.
I perform a T test to analysis my data and found out that the severity of skin problem is not related to the number of bacteria on the skin.
So, may I know, what is the answers actually? Does any related ? Does my hypothesis correct?

From dermatological point of view skin microbiome as Proprionebacterium acnes which is present to guard against Leukemia as some authors believe, and in the contrary Staphylococcus aureus colonize in active lesions in dermatitis (Eczema) 100% and may lead to its infection and dissemination.
Did you identify the species of bacteria? You mention that you calculated the number of colony forming units, but are these bacteria normal skin flora?

I only can identify the bacteria till genus level as I used biochemical tests.
So, I found that my bacteria are staphylococcus spp, corynebactrium spp ,brevidobacterium spp, micrococcus spp.
I would like to know do this kind of bacteria can cause any skin problem (acne)?
Or is about theire strains ?
Because from what I know through the internet, some website stated that some of the bacteria will cause diseases and some are not , this is because their strains. Different strains may cause cause diseases. Is that true ?

If is not related about the hypothesis " more bacteria cause the diseases more severe" ,than maybe is about the characteristics of strains (types).....

There appear to be some commensal strains and some pathogenic strains of C.acnes bacteria. Similarly, Staphylococcus is commensal, but may become pathogenic.
