Some individuals do not want to get in to a field  for the first degree's sake while they are young but come back to it later after higher degrees when they are least equipped to handle such issues. For example, in India, materials engineering takes a back seat in the demands for a B Tech degree but  at least about 30 % of the mechanical, production  or manufacturing graduates or post graduates later need materials engineering for furthering their careers. How can this juvenile ignorance and the demand based education system correct this defect ? The feed back system too takes a long  time to realize this.
