Enjoying a broad education, having enough time to reflect on your life, earning money without too much pressure, being surrounded by cultivated and peaceful fellows, achieving societal awareness, respect and credibility - enough good reasons for scientists to feel good.

But do scientists really feel better in their life?

I doubt. Even if I sometimes had that (see photo attached in front of the castle the town of Salzburg, Austria lended me for six years to conduct my studies)
