In scientific research we follow the accepted scientific principles, laws, theories, and hypotheses while making room for critically assessing the same for betterment of the science. We do this with utmost respect to those pioneers whom laid the foundations for us to build on their thoughts and experiences gained under more difficult circumstances in the past. At the same time, we learn to respect our fellow researchers irrespective of their nationality or skin color, age and gender, whether student or teacher, knowing that none of us are superior since we all are driven by the same quest for realization of truth. But greed for supremacy turns us away from good ethical practices converting the human in us to an animal. Most unethical practices start there. As researchers/scientists one can overcome this problem by becoming self-respecting and self-critical.
