Neutrino flavor oscillations are often described as involving a mass/energy change. The flavor oscillation is also described as the result of a superposition of mass eigenstates which propagate at slightly different velocities. If there is either a true mass change or a change in the distribution of mass, this would seem to imply that a neutrino flavor oscillation is accompanied by the emission of a small gravitational wave. Is this correct? Also, how can a mass/energy change conserve momentum when flavor oscillation is viewed from multiple frames of reference?
