Univariate normality test tells me I only have 2 values among my predictor variables that are >3 SD. Multivariate normality test tells me a have a few outliers. I also plotted residuals using the x and y variables and those plots suggest that a few of the values in my dependent variables are extreme. So, I am considering transforming my independent variables as this seems to be a method used to correct for violating the assumption of multivariate normality, but I am wondering if I need to transform my dependent variables too. The reason I wonder this is because my independent variables are not that extreme, it seems to be my dependent variables that is causing a bit of trouble. Thank you very much.
