By "duroplastic", I guess that you mean "thermoset". Anyway, whatever it is, a polymer can't have a good EMI shielding efficiency, at it is not electrically conducting. You have to load it with conductive fillers. For example, 2wt. % of carbon nanotubes in epoxy works quite well for this application. There are many papers available about that, but pure polymer is not good.
For better shielding, if size and cost permit, you can use double fiber layer sandwiched with wood and or conductive filler. Thickness will offer higher attenuation.
