Hello all,

If modelling a 2D case, for example, a rectangular box full of liquid, and defining a heat source cell zone along a thin line - I am trying to simulate an electron beam crossing a hydrogen target - that crosses from the left vertical wall the opposite one (i.e. the right vertical one, i.e., the heat source would cross the domain in an horizontal way), and wanting to study the natural convection produced due to the heat source, would that heat source cell zone permit mass flow through it?

With that I mean: will the cold liquid underneath the heat source "be able to go up" as it gets warmer, or would be that heat source like an actual "physical obstacle" for the fluid?

Thank you very much in advance!
