As I'm approaching the end of my second year as a Psychology student I have to reflect on a topic I would like to use for my dissertation and then find 5 papers related to it. I'm deeply interested in the field of Facial expressions, body language. Therefore I have to find a topic and a title for my dissertation proposal. I'm happy about any recommendations

Good morning. I, @Kevin Skiles have been researching patterns of non-verbal cues in conversation and communication. There are books and papers on this, that are 'easy' to find in the online educational libraries. As cross-cultural psychology, positive psychology, and epigenetic inheritance grab a bit more of a hold, I would suggest their paths will lead them here. Non-verbal communication is used and misinterpreted all too often between Western and non-Western language and communication. This is absolutely realistic. I am unclear on what you are looking for in the practicalities and ethics areas. Can you clarify the hard to reach, question as well? As in geographically difficult to assess and access? Or, more difficult to get reliable and valid information about?
Quite interesting. Are you considering the facial expressions from the emotion theories?
