recently, I am trying to induce intracerebral hemorrhage in rat brain (right striatum) with Collagenase type 4(c5138 Sigma).

I made the solution with NaCl but I can not get a consistent result which can directly be related to my dilution protocol and unappropriated concentration.

in some cases rats died due to big clot and severe hemorrhage which spread to even left hemisphere.

some other cases I saw no clot and some other cases small or rarely proper clot size.

I am wondering if anyone has such experience in this field I appreciate it if help and recommend me any proper dilution protocol for this collagenase based on this purpose.
