Hi! Recently we are working on some similar topics and i should say that, bite force measurement gauges are mostly custom made. There are not much company fabricated bite gauges and one of them which have worldwide distribution is "FUTEK Sensor Tech." from USA. Check the availability in your country, or in my opinion it is better to find the basic drawings of bite gauges in google and show it to a skilled engineer!

Jamal.  I've been using Tscan in private practice for over 8 years now.  Not only does it provide a reliable digital readout on bite force, but as or more importantly, TIMING of these forces.  Spend some time looking at Robert Kerstein, DMD and his research regarding Immediate Complete Anterior Guidance Development (ICAGD) to perform Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) therapy.  Through the occlusion, in a patient w/ objectively confirmed joints, we can control the muscles of mastication w/ DTR.  I do this daily.  It works, especially if you synch to Bioresearch Associates BioEMG unit which slaves to the Tscan sensor in real time.  So, in theory, Tscan gives you afferent data to CNS and BioEMG gives you the efferent response to muscle, virtually simultaneously.  It's an amazing tool for measurement and treatment.  Nothing is perfect, but this trumps traditional analog modalities.  I am a co-author in Kerstein's recent first edition textbook on digital occlusal analysis:http://www.igi-global.com/book/handbook-research-computerized-occlusal-analysis/110017

Title: A less expensive method for measuring bite force

Some time ago I published a paper on force bite measurements  ( the article is attached here) ,now if you have a great deal of money you can buy a T scan ,I don’t know the current price of the Tscan but in a publication in one of our universities in Canada  (McGill University) the price of Tscan in 2012 was approximately 9000 nine thousand dollars .i would also recommend reading the MGill University report which is entitled (https://www.mcgill.ca/dentistryohs/files/dentistryohs/t-scan.pdf)

In our orthodontic department (here at the University of Western Ontario )some time ago , we have assembled  a force bite instruments with less than 200 hundred dollars., with the help of an engineer expert in biophysics  ,all what we needed was a power supply with a reader, a strain gauge and  an incisal bite steel rest  all described in the publication.

The title of our publication was The effect of incisal bye force on condylar seating  angle orthodontist Vol 64 #1 1994by wood ,floriani, GaliL and tertuck

This appliance is no more made by j Morita. but its still available in Japanese local market though sold in the range of 80000-90000 yen much higher than the original price of 50000 yen.
