Are there phenotypic and functional differences in DCs generated from culturing BMDCs (mouse) in the presence of GM-CSF vs. FLT3L. Also does using human vs. mouse FLT3L make a difference? Many people seem to use human FLT3L for mice work.

FLT3L will skew DC phenotype to cDC2. Try to use the mouse ligand with the mouse receptor as their some sequence difference with the human genes.
