I would like to know if there is any difference in harvesting mammalian cells via trypsinization or scrapping for intracellular metabolite analyses. The metabolites could be polar no non-polar (organic acids, amino acids or glycolytic intermediates/phosphate sugars, etc.)

If there is difference, what would be the best suggestion? I appreciate if there is any research paper or evidences to compare.

Thank you in advance.
