I can see a negative shift in case of bare TiO2(~500 nm) and positive shift in case of black TiO2(conductive shell (~100 nm) and a non-conductive TiO2 core(~400 nm) (attached PPT).

Can it be simply attributed to a charging effect of the surface? The negative shift increases with the time of etching.

The substrates are SiO2(non-conductive) in both cases.
