Difference between a Luminometer and a Luminescence Spectrophotometer?

Hello everyone, I wanted to know, can a Luminescence Spectrophotometer be a substitute for a Luminometer? I am using the ATP Determination Kits (luciferase/luciferin) and instead of a Luminometer I have a Perkins Elmer LS 55 Luminescence Spectrophotometer available to me.
