I can't find much on the electro-magnetic properties of pure tungsten carbide in my reference database, but in according to an entry in old book I have (Schwarzkopf and Kieffer, "Refractory Hard Metals", 1953) which references an even older paper in german, (W. Klemm and W. Schüth, Z. anorg. allg. Chem., 201, 24, 1931) the (volume?) magnetic susceptibility of WC is +0.05 x 10^-6
