Jabir Bin Hayan (721–815) was an Arab and Persian scholar who wrote many things about what we call sciences now. He was essentially a chemist and an alchemist. But at that time, the definitions of sciences disciplines were different. It doesn't seem that Jabir Bin Hayan wrote A book on Biology (I mean solely dedicated to it), but Biology data and considerations could be elsewhere and everywhere within his books scattered among other items... Good luck !
