Dear All,

I am New in pathogen-related and disease-related resistance studies

Please help me to guide further...

I was surveying my polymorphic markers on Resistance x susceptible ( P1 x P2, F2) of my population. So I found on Chr. 8 one SSR MARKER very good segregation between parents, moreover, I pool my DNA samples of susceptible five F2 bulk samples to (BS1) and resistant five F2 samples to BS2. Below image shows my current findings. 1. Is it enough to be assume that this phatogen has partial resistance? 2. Do I need to order more markers on Chr 8 (near position) or better to focus on other chromosome and find the locations linked to the gene of interest? [

I'd very much appreciate your comments on my questioned issue
