Determining chitinase activity using Somogy-Nelson instead of DNS method?

Can anyone help me with determining chitinase activity of Trichoderma spp. using Somogy-Nelson method instead of DNS? I found a paper (N Jayanthi et al 2019 IOP Conf. Ser.: Earth Environ. Sci. 293 012030) using such method (photo attached) but I struggle with the formula used in there. Can anyone explain me the formula? Is there a tgα of a standart curve for GlcNaC with Somogy-Nelson? Thank you all in advance!
