I think that deductive reasoning is more rigorous than inductive one. To put it simple, deductive reasoning give us necessities, whereas inductive reasoning gives us only probabilities. More to the point, deduction is a logic process to prove, whereas induction is an experimental process to discover, invent and the like. Deduction is the pivotal principle of formal sciences,such as logical and mathematics, whereas induction is the pivotal principle of the natural and experimental sciences.
Henri Poincaré said it quite well: "It is with logic that one proves; it is with intuition that one invents."
Orlando M Lourenço The rigor of deduction is formal. If your premises aren't true, your proof isn't worth much. If your premises are themselves logically true (e.g. tautologies or mathematical axioms), fine. But if they're empirical then they are probabilistic and your conclusion likewise. The only necessity is that the premises entail the conclusion, not that the conclusion isn't probabilistic.

There are also other anomalous cases I didn't mention in my response to Orlando M Lourenço that can be added as qualifications to my claim that empirical premises yield an empirical conclusion. For example, when the premises are contradictory or entail a contradiction. In classical logic that yields a valid argument no matter what the conclusion. Likewise, if the conclusion is a tautology or logical truth, the argument is valid no matter what the premises. Nonclassical logics such as relevance logics were developed in order to avoid such anomalies which many regard as unacceptable or counterintuitive.
