How to decolorize neem extract, using for any herbal formulation? Or how can we reduce its dark color?

Sayed i want to use neem for herbal solution formulation, and in water its very dark brownish color, so i want to reduce this color to make some other color formulation.
Rao G thanx for reply, we already have tried with charcoal at room temperature, but not at high temperature because there are full chances of degradation.

You have not mentioned only Neem extract but of which part is it of Bark or Leaves? the Charcoal filtration is the best method to colorize but you may not get complete colorization, some reduction in color will obtain; other method using strong reagents will definitely reduce the potency defeating your formulation development purpose. If the formulation is through oral route then encapsulation is best.
Dark coloration of herbal extracts is common with every plant extract.
Minimising colour can be attained based on what type of formulation with extract is aimed at.
If it is liquid oral one can use MC/HPMC or if it is solid dosage form best way is soft gel capsules. However, for concentration you need to use vacuum drying to prevent any degradation of phyto-chemical potency.
Before preparation of your neem extract , dry the plant material completely and keep it in open air for some time , with the passage of time chlorophyll material will degrade itself after this when you prepare its extract it will contain no dark color or if dark color still persists then treat your extract with kaolin or other clay or a small amount of powder CaO/Ca(OH)2 plus heat at 50-60C for few minutes, it will clear your solution within seconds
you adapt any method..but you must keep track of the intended activity and also toxicity if you wish to apply any chemical methods. You can try enriching your extract by 1-2 column chromatographies. this will remove colour.
