Mainly for drinking water analysis.
Hello Ahmed
Do you want to use the TOC for off-line or for online analysis? Do you know approximately the IC content? What TOC level do you expect? Below 1 ppm?
Thank you
Roland
Thank you Roland for your reaction.
Offline (drinking water lab), high IC content mainly in ground water.
TOC range 0.2-8 ppm
From experience , we prefer conductometric detection technique.
Waiting your valuable opinions.
Thank you for your great effort Mr.Leonidas
I noticed some manufacturers through your valuable references which I am really appreciating and dealing with some of them.
Best Regards

Dear Ahmad,
I prefer Shimadzu TOC-L Series
The TOC-L series of TOC analyzers adopts the 680°C combustion catalytic oxidation method, which was developed by Shimadzu and is now used worldwide.
- Measurement Range: 0 to 30000 mg/L
- Detection Limit :4 µg/L
- NDIR :Yes
- Sample Volume Range: 10 to 2000 μL
I would recommend GE analyser (Suez now) because it can be easily used for seawater applications including brine analysis...
What is the approximate cost TOC-L series with all the accessories including auto sampler, solid sample combustion unit, total N unit?
Make -Shimadzu
