Dear all. How to identify the lifespan of the natural fiber? other than accelerated aging test is there any other methods ?

Trying to identify the lifespan of palm fiber . palm fiber to be used as geotextile material , exposed to outdoor under different weather and climates . Need a specific test that can tell the estimated lifespan of the palm fiber. kindly advice me . Thank you.
