Ambient intelligence (AmI) creates responsive, adaptive environments that sense human presence and behaviour. Using advanced data mining, AmI systems extract patterns from diverse sensor data for real-time decisions and personalised services. But, their interconnected nature raises communication and security issues. This workshop examines how data mining enhances system awareness and ensures secure, trustworthy, privacy-preserving communications in ambient settings. Topics include anomaly detection, behavioural pattern mining, encrypted analytics, intrusion detection, and trust models, encouraging collaboration among data science, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems experts.
